Recently named one out of 100 of Nigeria’s most influential women in Nigeria 2015, Alima Atta has had a successful career in Public Relations and Marketing for over 20 years. Alima Atta has over sixteen years of experience in the fields of marketing and public relations.

Prior to starting up Sesema, she worked for MMDMarketing Communications and Anderson Soames, two PR agencies based in the UK, in Consumer Product Management for AT&T in the United States, and in Corporate Communications for Guaranty Trust Bank in Nigeria.

She started Sesema PR Ltd in 2001 when she returned to Nigeria, and has grown it to be one of the most successful agencies in Nigeria. With international clients and affiliations, Sesema has become the go to agency for corporate PR Alima studied French and Marketing and has worked in the UK and USA.

She has been recognised for her work in PR several times, as well as her efforts to support the industry.

She was a member of PRCAN and NIPR in Nigeria, and has twice been awarded the “Best PR practitioner’ award by Lagos State University’s School of Media.
