Managing Director

Tampiri Irimagha-Akemu; Managing Director Sesema Public Relations has a career that spans nearly two decades in Government, Oil & Gas, Logistics and Nonprofit Management sectors. Her multi sector experience includes Organizational Development, Capacity Development, and Public Relations & Communications for various organizations.

She developed this vast expertise while working with Total E & P Nigeria, Orlean Invest West Africa; where she piloted a Corporate Training/ Learning Academy establishing group wide curriculum to improve employee knowledge, skills, performance, and career development and business results for about 12,000 Group employees and UNDP Regional Project; working as  Human Capital Development for Western and Central Africa Region (covering 13 Countries) for Sub-Saharan Africa’s biggest and most ambitious Human Capital Development effort in the private sector. She also successfully managed executive broad-based Consulting projects.

Sesema PR, a reputation management firm under her management is recognized as one of the top PR firms in Nigeria with two international partnerships servicing local and multinational clients operating in various sectors. Being in operation for over 14 years, Sesema PR currently works with big brands such as; Visa, Etihad, Cummins inc, Philips, Letshego MFB, FMC Technologies, Broll amongst others.

Tampiri concluded an EMBA from CEIBS (ranked top 10 International Business school by Financial times) specializing in Entrepreneurship & Innovation. She has a BA in Foreign languages and literature, and a Certificate from Harvard Business School and Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS).

She is a Global Affiliate of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) and member Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) with several professional certifications in HR – ACIPM, SHRI, Quality (ACQI) and Management (CMI) and a volunteer business consultant for a UK based Charity Organization.

She has a passion for mentoring youths hence her selection as board committee member and mentor for Women in Successful Careers (WISCAR); an NGO focused on developing women to build a better nation. She also initiated Corporate Communications Pitch Competition (CCPC), the first of its kind in Nigeria and Corporate Communications Interactive Forum (CCIF) platforms designed to train youths in the communication field in Nigeria and West Africa at large. Tampiri also participated as one of the mentors during the first edition of Tony Elumelu Foundation Entrepreneurship Programme (TEEP)

Tampiri is a philanthropist who believes in giving back to the society where she operates. Her project involves giving scholarships and internship opportunities to best graduating student of the Mass Communications Department of Lagos State University. She is also the Co- founder Sickle Cell Society Ireland – Nigeria.



General Manager

Damilola Sobajo works with Sesema PR team across all sectors to ensure delivery of quality client work. Under her direction, Sesema PR’s approach to client service and strategy is centralized and tactical.

In addition to leading some of the most talked about communications campaigns for brands Damilola is a master mentor. She has been responsible for sparking the start of several careers and has helped guide, coach and motivate many, from recent graduates to C-level executives in Public Relations. She is focused on growing top client leads, teams and relationships.

Damilola brings over a decade of Marketing Communications experience to her clients. She has played an integral role in some of Sesema PR’s most significant projects for clients across Property, FMCG’s, Aviation, Health, Beauty and Finance. Damilola oversees a portfolio of Sesema PR’s clients including Visa, Etihad, Cummins West Africa Limited, EFInA, Philips, A-Z petroleum and WISCAR.

Throughout her career, Damilola has established strong relationships working with organizations and the media.



Head HR and Admin

Mfon Benard has substantial experience in planning, directing and implementing activities designed to maximize an organization’s workforce. Prior to joining Sesema Public Relations, Mfon Bernard worked with Shell Nigeria Exploration, Production Company and Intamaco Nigeria ltd.

Her expertise spans across  Internal process optimization, Talent management, Man power planning, Performance management, Total quality control, Change management, Benefits and Training Evaluations.

Mfon is passionate about building strong workforce and creating a conducive and safe work space for passionate employees, hence’ enhancing Sesema effectiveness.

She holds a degree in Economics from the prestigious University of Calabar.  Mfon Bernard is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management  Nigeria (CIPMN)  and currently a member,  HRCI’ Professionals in Human Resources .
