Marketing Communications agency, Sesema PR today turns 14. The Lagos-based agency kicked off operations on April 1st, 2002.
From its humble beginnings as a small agency offering traditional PR services in Nigeria, the company now offers IT & Digital Services as well as Market Research.
To mark the 14th anniversary, the agency is launching a corporate communications pitch competition to create opportunity for youth mind looking forward to build a career in the IMC industry.
“Every year has been a milestone but this 14th year anniversary has been significant, it has come with its challenges but with plenty rewards. We have won new accounts, solidified relationships with existing clients and broken new ground through several projects to reward our partners, support SME’s while gathering new partnerships,”

“We are glad to launch the first of its kind in Nigeria – Corporate Communications Pitch Competition CCPC 2016 to mark this year’s aniversary: the competition is aimed at identifying bright communications graduates and avail them a platform to build a career in Public Relations and Digital Communications. This gives us an opportunity as an organization to impact the lives of young development program. The winner and first runner up were handsomely rewarded and will be entitled to an internship programme with our organisation thereby sustaining the legacy of the founder of Sesema PR.”
In 2007, Sesema PR became the Nigerian affiliate to Edelman, and in 2009 the agency was awarded the ‘Best PR Practice’ award by the school of MassCom at Lagos State University.
Some of the agency’s current clients include Etihad Airways, Cummins, Visa, Philips, FBN Micro finance among others.
